Vena Holden is our owner. She started the business in 1997 in Mooresville, Indiana. She’s the backbone of everything you see today. She and her husband Art, live at Lake Lemon where Art is a boat mechanic. She loves games of chance, like cards and bingo. She wears a size 5 shoe so loves it when they come in the store. Her favorite thing to do at the shop is to find new ways of reaching the customer and the consignor.
Rene Elsbury is our manager. She’s a busy girl with 3 kids, and a member of a philanthropic sorority. She loves clothes and has always been into fashion. She enjoys putting together outfits for other people, and always wants to look put together with little effort.
Pat Fanter works in the consignment area. She’s been with us since August of 2008 and loves her job. She is an Elvis & Wizard of Oz fanatic, and she almost always is carrying a Kathy Van Zealand purse. Her favorite color is navy blue, and she loves to keep us organized.
Karla Zylla is the face you see the most at the register. She’s a country girl who loves animals. She’s always watching for bargains on active wear and jeans. She carries small purses, and thinks that this is the job she’s had the most fun and variety with.
Mary Halterman is the “Hello” you hear from the floor when you come in the door. She’s been married for 50 years and is a devoted member of Our Lady of Greenwood. She’s been on staff the longest, and says she like working here because everyone is friendly and its fun.
Meet Harold, our friend, our handyman, and Mary’s husband. Harold is a big part of our shop’s success. He’s always here to help with anything we need, from moving racks, to putting up lights and signs, painting and even electric needs! Harold is retired from GM. He and Mary have 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Lacey Knoerr is our newest staff member and we get the pleasure of being her first job. She’s currently a student at IUPUI. She loves the color purple, and enjoys scrap booking. She likes getting to talk to all the different people that come into our store, and is very detail oriented.
